Everyone hates getting up and going to work. OK, that might be a little untrue, since many people love their jobs. I fall somewhere in the middle.
Yes, I love the fact that I am a freelance writer and can pick and choose between most of the projects I want to take. Take, for instance, right now. I am sitting here in my pajamas watching the snow fall.
Which reminds me of another thing – I don’t have a commute.
But on the other hand, I won’t ever get a snow day. Unless the power goes off, in which then I will have about 2 more hours until the laptop battery dies.
Freelance writing has perks, but also headaches too. I can never leave work at the office and go home – mine are one and the same. I can never complain about a boss, since it’s me! I don’t have anyone to gripe to when it’s break time. The cats are usually asleep and just don’t understand.
Bu tody there is no complaining. Snow is falling, the space heater is on, and I have a ton of projects I need to get to!
